A charging document freezes one moment in time. This page does the opposite: it uses current official releases to separate people who have been charged, convicted, sentenced, pleaded guilty or are still facing unresolved charges.
01 · Feeding Our Future snapshot
These are the latest ordinal counts located in official Justice Department releases. They are not three separate groups to add together. Convicted defendants come from the charged population; sentenced defendants come from the convicted population. Each count also has its own publication date.

DOJ identified Abdirashid Bixi Dool as the 78th defendant charged. A charge is an allegation unless later resolved by plea, verdict, dismissal or another court disposition.

Do not subtract these counts to invent a “pending” number. Public ordinal releases are useful milestones, but individual procedural histories can include separate cases, later charges, dismissals or unresolved counts. Use a defendant's docket for the definitive status of that defendant.
02 · What those stages look like
A single label like “Feeding Our Future defendant” hides too much. Some defendants are serving long prison terms. Some have pleaded guilty and await sentencing. At least one central defendant returned from abroad in 2026 and still faces the original charges.

Founder and executive director of Feeding Our Future. A federal jury convicted Bock in March 2025. On May 22, 2026, she was sentenced to 500 months in prison.

Farah was convicted at trial in the Feeding Our Future fraud case and sentenced on August 6, 2025 to 28 years. In the separate juror-bribery prosecution, he later pleaded guilty and was sentenced on July 22, 2026 to 120 months.

Charges pending in public record
Eidleh was originally charged in September 2022. After being located in Somalia, he was transferred to Minnesota on July 16, 2026. DOJ said he was facing 31 charges and expected to make an initial appearance the next day.

03 · Recent movement
This is why The Record's charging-file briefs deliberately do not pretend to be live case-status pages. The sequence below shows how quickly the public description can change as pleas, verdicts and sentences arrive.
DOJ announces a seven-count indictment. At this stage, the filing is an allegation and Dool is presumed innocent.
The central sponsor case has moved well beyond indictment: trial conviction followed by a prison sentence exceeding 41 years.
The same person who was described as newly charged eight months earlier enters a guilty plea. Sentencing remains a later stage.
DOJ says a defendant charged in the original 2022 wave is back in Minnesota to face 31 charges — a reminder that not every case in a mature investigation has reached judgment.

Three additional prison sentences are announced after hearings on August 26 and 27.

04 · Housing Stabilization Services
The HSS investigation is newer than Feeding Our Future and does not yet have one simple public ordinal scoreboard. The safest approach is to show sourced procedural events by case rather than manufacture a total from overlapping releases.

The two Pennsylvania men marketed themselves as “The Housing Guys” while traveling to Minnesota to recruit HSS beneficiaries. Both pleaded guilty to wire fraud on February 9, 2026. DOJ said sentencing would be determined later.

Moktar Hassan Aden, Mustafa Dayib Ali, Khalid Ahmed Dayib and Abdifitah Mohamud Mohamed each pleaded guilty to wire fraud in separate hearings from July 7 through July 23, 2026. DOJ said sentencing dates had not yet been set.

Hassan Ahmed Hussein pleaded guilty on September 24 and Ahmed Abdirashid Mohamed pleaded guilty on October 1 to one count of wire fraud each. DOJ said Pristine Health billed Minnesota Medicaid more than $820,000 and that sentencing would be set later.

DOJ has announced multiple HSS charging waves and guilty pleas, including additional cases in the broader 2026 Minnesota health-care-fraud takedown. Rather than add people across releases and risk double-counting, this page will publish a program-wide ordinal only when an official source supplies one or the underlying case roster is reconciled person by person.
05 · How to read status
When a new story appears, locate the procedural verb first. It tells you what has actually changed.
A prosecutor has filed an accusation. Guilt has not been established.
The defendant admitted guilt in court. A sentence usually comes later.
A judge or jury found the defendant guilty after trial. Sentencing remains a separate step.
A court imposed punishment after conviction. Prison time is only one possible component; restitution, forfeiture and supervision can also matter.
The available official record still shows unresolved charges or future proceedings. Pending does not mean guilty.
One person can have more than one prosecution. Abdiaziz Farah's fraud sentence and juror-bribery sentence are different criminal cases and should remain distinct.
06 · Status method
Status changes. The right response is not to hide that limitation; it is to date every aggregate, link the release that established it, and update when a newer official source supersedes it.
MN Peace does not infer a current outcome from a charging document. A charge-era case brief remains a brief of that filing. This status desk supplies later procedural context from official releases and should yield to the court docket if the two ever diverge.
Current status tells you what happened later. The Record shows what prosecutors originally alleged, the counts they filed, the defendants named and the primary PDF where available.
